This term in young parents group we have courses and qualifications covering, food hygiene and Scottish Mental Health First Aid and we’re delighted to welcome back Stellar Quinnes to work with the group looking at issues impacting women. In other groups we have photography taking place at Pregnancy Cafe and the Introductory group are getting crafty!
Activities at Steps to Grow will focus on fun interactive learning opportunities for children and their parents/carers to get involved in, such as sensory play, arts and crafts, and free flow exploration of the gardens. The garden space offers the opportunity for parents and children to socialise with peers and to support children’s early learning and development in a safe environment.
Baby Steps resumes on the 20th of April for parents with children aged between 6 and 12 months. This group supports new parents to learn about their child’s developmental stages and looks at topics such as fine motor skills, attachment, weaning, sleep and baby first aid.
