Summer Activities

We’ve got lots of activities still taking place over the school holidays, come and take a look at what is on!

We are really excited to be providing weekly sessions throughout the summer for the school children we support, aged between 7 and 11 years old. Our aim is to provide positive enjoyable experiences by being active in the outdoors and gaining new skills, building confidence and creating new friendships. We are running two sessions with the Green Team in which the children will be involved in outdoor activities in the local area such as den building, taking part in scavenger hunts and finishing off with safe fire lighting and enjoying some toasted marsh mallows. We also have water sports with Bridge 8 Hub where children will have the chance to try canoeing, kayaking and water biking. We will also be challenging ourselves to climb Arthur Seat where we can enjoy the views of our city and finally we’ve got some great activities which are part of the science festival activities.

Alongside this group we’ve got our usual groups still running including our Walking Group, Wellbeing Group, Granton Garden Group and Wee Steps.

We also have a new group starting at North Edinburgh Arts on a Tuesday which is being led by Kate Temple who is a visual artist and performance maker. Kate will be leading our young parents in a creative production.
