New Term, New Topics

We are enjoying having all our groups back after the summer holidays and a have a term full of great new topics lined up.

The Introductory Groups are heading out on a festival trip this week with their children to see the amazing bubble man and then have a variety of topics to look froward to in the coming weeks including, dance, mindfulness, floral art, accident prevention and den building with the early years team. The Core group are starting their peer mentor training which will see a group of young parents be trained to support newer parents joining the project and looking to connect with other local community activities. They also have a mixture of craft activities including paper cutting but are also feeding into a poverty action focus group to have their say on the impact poverty has on families.

This term we also have our AGM coming up, which will be taking place on 30th September at 12.30 at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre. Please come along and join us if you can, there will be a buffet lunch provided following the AGM.
