This term both of our Core groups are working towards completing the SQA Wellbeing Award. This first module, Exploring Wellbeing, gives parents the opportunity to find out about an area of well-being that they are interested in. They will explore what their chosen topic looks like in different contexts and consider what influences it. We will then look at ways to improve our well-being.

Our group worker Jane is supporting both groups to make scrapbooks and decorate 3D frames. The parents are looking forward to bringing in family photos and creating scrapbooks of memories for their children.

As part of our annual Peer Education programme we will be training parents to be Peer Educators. This training will include facilitation skills, listening skills and workshop content. The Peer Educators will then deliver workshops to S3 pupils in a local high school.
