The children have been showing an interest in transport and have been playing with cars, aeroplanes and buses in the playrooms. We are supporting their interest by providing suitable activities such as adding a variety of boats in our water area, different sizes of cars in sand area, train tracks and books about transport.

Recently we have also started promoting the children’s independence at the snack table, encouraging children to help themselves whilst getting their plates or glasses. We have been using small jugs for milk and water to allow children to pour their milk or water by themselves. We will continue to promote independence in other areas as well.
