Early Years

Our Early Years room is available for parents who attend our weekly group work sessions. The aim of the Early Years service is to provide a safe and stimulating environment following the Pre-Birth to Three document and Curriculum for Excellence. We are registered for children aged 0-5 years with 12 spaces at our base in Wardieburn and 12 spaces at our base in Muirhouse. As the ages of the children are mixed between 0-5 years we believe it is important to operate on a high ratio of one adult to three children.

Our Practitioners

Kimberley Torrance is Early Years Manager and has over 20 years experience working with children aged 0-5. The play practitioners consist of Pamela Ross who has worked at the project for 7 years and gained her qualification in August 2013.  Clara Massie joined us in September 2016 having qualified with an SVQ 3 in Social care, Children and Young People under 21’s. Marnie Killin has recently joined us to cover a maternity post until October 2018.
